Nudes

I began photographing nudes when I was in art school, modeling for photographers and painters. I found then, as I still do today, that the human body is infinite in its variety, and that it can be approached in the same way I approach architectural photography. There is poetry in the forms of the human body, music in the smallest section of an arm, a breast, a foot. It is rare for me to photograph a full body, rather what interests me are the small details, the crease in an elbow, the shell-like shape of an ear, the meandering river of a spinal column, the gentle slope of a hip.
