Early in 2010, I was asked to do a projection of my work for a music and poetry evening for Universe of Poetry.  As I thought about what to show, I realized that two of my ongoing bodies of work (Poesie des Affiches and Reflets) actually relate in a way I had never thought of before, and so they became a unit, for that evening.  In fact, after seeing them together throughout the performance, I really connected to their synergy, and so joined they became STREETWORK.  Later in the year, I had a solo exhibition of this paired work at Chicago Photography Center, and the two merged perfectly on the wall, as well. Both deal with urban surface.  Both walls and windows attract my eye as both contain objects, materials, and images that are transformed by natural the layering of time and reflection.
